One goal of the Tuscaloosa City Schools strategic plan is to provide opportunities for all students to be connected to their school through extracurricular activities. Northridge Middle School is dedicated to making this goal a reality by creating meaningful opportunities for every student to discover their interests, develop new skills, build relationships, and feel a strong sense of belonging within our school community.

NMS offers a wide variety of academic teams, clubs, elective classes, athletic opportunities, and student activities designed to meet the diverse interests and strengths of our students. From academic competitions and leadership opportunities to athletics, the arts, service organizations, and special interest clubs, students are encouraged to explore their passions and find activities where they can contribute and thrive.

A cornerstone of our commitment to student involvement is Club Day, which provides every student with an opportunity to connect with an organization or activity that interests them. Club Day allows students to explore a variety of clubs, meet peers with similar interests, and participate in activities outside of the traditional classroom setting.

Through these opportunities, NMS strives to ensure that every student can find a place to belong and a way to contribute.
